Niclas Kaus was a promising 18 year old playing for Löwen Frankfurt U20 in the DNL U20 league. On December 18th Kaus suffered a severe head injury during a game and was rushed for an emergency surgery.
Today is was announced that Kaus has passed away from those injuries he sustained. The promising dman had 10 points in 14 games this season.
Today a moment of silence was held in his honour.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and teammates. Especially his brother Jannik who also plays for Löwen Frankfurt.
