Ever since the 2011 Stanley Cup finals, the Boston Bruins and Vancover Canucks have a bit of a rivalry and it continued last night.
Last night the Boston Bruins hosted the Vancouver Canucks in what finished as a 5-2 win for the Boston Bruins.
Things got hostile early last night in the first period as with 5 minutes left AJ Greer and Vasily Podkolzin dropped the gloves.
Podkolzin tried to put up a fight but Greer dominated this one and it wasn't even close:
Once Greer got his arm free, he just started whaling on Podkolzin. Greer began to celebrate after the victory but people have been quick to point out that he refused to take on Luke Schenn who is actually known for fighting, and chose instead to go for a young sophomore.
