It has been revealed that recently drafted prospect Matvei Michkov had a mind of refusal directed towards an unexpected certain team.
No Interest In Playing With The Great 8
An agent reported that Michkov had his mind made up that he did not want to be drafted by the Washington Capitals and play with none other than fellow Russian superstar Alex Ovechkin.
Happy With Being A Flyer
With the seventh pick in the draft, it was the Philadelphia Flyers who took the forward amidst his current contract situation back home in Russia. Michkov had no reported complaints about being drafted to Philly, nor did he look disappointed as he was selected.
Now that his opinions have been made public, we will now see how Capitals fans will react to this news.
