Tonight Rick Westhead announced via Twitter that Kyle Beach and the Chicago Blackhawks have come to a settlement agreement in Beach's negligence lawsuit against the team.
It was also announced that "the Blackhawks are scheduled to conduct settlement negotiations with "John Doe 2," the former high school player sexually assaulted by Brad Aldrich, on Dec. 20."
This is great news for Kyle Beach and John Doe 2, the high school student that was assaulted by Aldrich due to the Blackhawks recommendation for hire.
Hopefully Kyle Beach is able to find some sort of peace and comfort knowing that this situation is behind him and knowing he's made positive change in the NHL and hockey in general with his courage and bravery.
