The Vegas Golden Knights have been operating in LTIR for the majority of this season, trying to maximize their cap space for a Stanley Cup run. But they've also been plagued by serious injury trouble. That injury trouble just got significantly worse.
At this point all signs point to Robin Lehner's latest injury being a significant one.
I hesitate to put a timeline on it, because of the uncertainty, but it's very possible he misses the rest of the regular season. The Knights have gone 4-10-1 since the arrival of Jack Eichel and desperately need to find a way to right the ship or they risk missing the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.
Could this injury lead to Mark Stone returning from the LTIR or will the Knights seek help elsewhere?
Maybe Anton Forsberg is an option, should the Knights choose to go the affordable route or could we see Marc-Andre Fleury make a return to Vegas?
