A scary scene happened last night during a game between the Canucks and the Avalanche.

While battling with Valeri Nichushkin in front of the net, Mark Friedman received a dangerous crosscheck to the head by the Avs forward.

Friedman went to the locker room with blood on his forehead. Hope he will be okay 🙏 "
Suspension Incoming After Dirty Play Isn't Punished by the Officials?
After the incident, Friedman stayed on the ice for several minutes before going back to the locker room, putting an end to his game.
"Defenceman Mark Friedman will not return to tonight's game."

In this video, it's evident that Nichushkin is responsible for the injury.
