Second Player Pleads Not Guilty In Canadian WJC Scandal
Shortly after the TSN report confirming five players being officially demanded to turn themselves in another player has pled not guilty. After turning himself in the first player Michael McLeod put out a statement claiming his innocence. Now the captain from the 2018 Canadian team Dillon Dube has also pled not guilty.
A lawyer for Calgary Flames forward Dillon Dube confirms Dube has been charged and says he will plead not guilty.
This is the second of what will likely be five total statements from each of the players charged in connection with the scandal. As of now, these are the only updates provided. On February 5th the London Police Department is scheduled to speak to the media for more updates.
As this story continues to develop and more updates are made we will pass them along to you.
