The Nottingham Panthers are truly devastated to announce that Adam Johnson has tragically passed away following a freak accident at the game in Sheffield last night.
If there is anything to come of this, we hope that maybe there can be a mandatory equipment change so players are forced to wear neckguards. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this moment and we send our condolences during this troubling period. May Adam Johnson rest in peace.
