«Its just not going to happen,» Carey Price says about his knee healing well enough for him to play hockey again #Habs #HabsIO
While this has long been suspected it is the first time Price has confirmed it himself. This ends a historic era for the Montreal Canadiens. Price will go down as one of the best goaltenders in the franchises history.
He has won a Vezina Trophy and a Hart Trophy in his time in the NHL. He was also a crucial piece to the Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup Final run in 2021.
His career stats including a 2.51 goals against average, a 0.917 save percentage and 49 shutouts are all very impressive for the years he played in. Price will likely be honored by the Canadiens in the coming years and potentially have his jersey number retired by one of the most prestigious organizations in the NHL.
