Today Corey Perry addressed the media after signing with the Edmonton Oilers. This was his first opportunity to do so since the incident that led to his contract termination in Chicago.
Perry Speaks For The First Time Since Getting Terminated
This afternoon new Edmonton Oilers signing Corey Perry spoke with the media. During his media availability, he spoke about the opportunity to sign in Edmonton and continue his career. He also was asked if he felt his career would be over after the incident.
Perry was then asked about the events in Chicago that led to his termination. He referred back to his earlier statement and did not want to elaborate anymore.
perry was asked if he could shed any further light as to what happened in chicago: "i think when i put out my statement, that it kind of mentioned everything. that's all i'm going to elaborate on."
