The hammer of justice has struck in Vegas, as defenseman Alex Pietrangelo has been suspended one game by the NHL. The suspension is a result of Pietrangelo's slash on Edmonton's Leon Draisaitl at the end of last night's game.
Use Your Head, Man!
Alex Pietrangelo isn't usually regarded as a dirty player, but this play is really unacceptable. The video of the incident in question can be found here.
The NHL's Department of Player Safety announced that Pietrangelo would have a hearing for his slash on Draisaitl, and it looks like they've finally made their decision.
What do you think, was this justice served?
