Red Wings Coach Provides Update on Kane's Injury
In his post-game press conference, Derek Lalonde, the Wings' head coach, made a major announcement regarding the nature of Patrick Kane's injury.
He said that fortunately, his lower-body injury isn't related to his hip.
"Red Wings coach Derek Lalonde had no update on Patrick Kane, who left the game with a lower-body injury tonight. "I don't think it's related to his hip, but again, I don't have all the information on it yet," he said."
Kane underwent a major hip surgery during the summer that forced him to miss the first few months of the season.
This season, in 19 games with the Red Wings, Kane scored 16 points, including 7 goals.
We hope that his injury isn't serious and Kane will come back soon to help the Red Wings in their quest for the playoffs.
As seen on Hockey Feed - Derek Lalonde shares one important detail on Kane's injury.
