Pierre Luc-Dubois is current an RFA and recently told the Winnipeg Jets that he wants to test free agency as soon as he becomes a UFA. Dubois has been on the Winnipegs Jets for 2 seasons now after being traded from Columbus for sniper Patrik Laine.

According to François Gagnon of RDS, Dubois is about to be changing his address to the New York area code. Gagnon who said the New York Rangers would be very aggressive this summer is apparently very interested in Dubois' services.

With Ryan Strome being a UFA and 21 year old Filip Chytil not quite ready for the 2nd line center role, Dubois would be the perfect fit for the Rangers.

By the way, according to information obtained during the finals, the New York Rangers are more than interested in acquiring Pierre-Luc Dubois. Negotiations underway with the Jets on the parameters of a transaction. It's not a done deal, but Chris Drury is very interested.

Dubois had 28 goals and 60 points in 81 games this year, and is still only 24 years old. Dubois is not going to come cheap for the Rangers, but luckily they are loaded with young talent that the Jets would be interested in. Kakko will more than likely be on the move in this deal and It wouldn't surprise me to see Braden Schneider added as well.
