The career path of Dallas Eakins, a well-known figure in the NHL, has taken an exciting turn with a significant appointment overseas.
Dallas Eakins Lands Dual Role in German Hockey League
Dallas Eakins, known for his over ten-year NHL playing career, including time with the Maple Leafs, and subsequent coaching roles, has embarked on a new journey. After his playing days, Eakins served as the head coach of the Toronto Marlies and an assistant coach for the Maple Leafs. He then moved on to head coaching positions with the Edmonton Oilers and the Anaheim Ducks.
Eakins's latest venture takes him to Europe, where he has been appointed both the head coach and general manager of Adler Mannheim, a team in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).
Dallas Eakins is now the GM of
@adlermannheim. He will coach until the end of this season, and then re-assess that position. Bit of a career swerve for him.
