BREAKING: Head Coach Ejected For Berating Officials
Ducks head coach Greg Cronin was ejected following a questionable call from the referees that left Cronin irate.
Cronin Ejected For Actions Towards Officials
The Anaheim Ducks' night is not going too well as they just had a terrible call go against them and their head coach, Greg Cronin, was ejected for his explosive reaction to the play.
Coach Cronin has been given a game misconduct for unsportsmanlike conduct.
Cronin clearly had an earful for the officials:
The play that was challenged was this play that was called for goaltender interference.
Goaltender interference is one of the most uncertain calls in all of sports and is truly left up to the interpretation of the referee. Now Cronin will likely face supplementary discipline from the league and that could come in the form of the suspension or a fine.
