It wasn't too long ago that Petry had a career year and was even in Norris conversations for awhile, but last season was tough for Petry.
After making it all the way to the finals with the Montreal Canadiens, the Habs fell to last place last year, and players like Jeff Petry seriously struggled for most of the season. When Martin St. Louis took over as head coach, Petry started to rebound, but it was not enough to make him want to stay in Montreal.
Last night Petry played his first game in a Pittsburgh Penguins uniform, and he decided to punch a Detroit Red Wings player in the back of the head.

Red Wings fans were not happy with it just being a fine as Larkin was suspended for a similar play.
