Jeremy Swayman, the younger member of the Bruins' President's Trophy-winning tandem last season, has had his arbitration filing processed.
We now know the substantial sum he's received.
Swayman signed a deal today.
Is Swayman's Boston Run Over?
The Bruins, being on the upper end of the salary cap, need to count every cent. As a result of Swayman's recent pay raise from the arbitration outcome, their creativity will be further tested. It remains to be seen if they can complete their roster with Swayman's increased compensation.
The question that begs an answer now is whether Swayman can live up to the expectations set by this big deal.
