BREAKING: Lightning Reportedly Selling Stake in Team for an Insane Number
The Lightning have proven that they are one of the most valuable teams in the NHL but now they are looking to sell some of the team for an insane value.
Lightning Looking To Sell Team
Just this past week, the Ottawa Senators were sold for nearly $1 billion. The Tampa Bay Lightning ownership has taken note of this and have now offered up a minority stake in the team for a record breaking price.
The believed share is 20% which would put the Lightning's team valuation at $7 billion. This would far surpass the team valuations of $2.2 billion Forbes gave the New York Rangers in 2022.
This is a good sign for the league as we are watching the NHL become more and more valuable with each passing year.
