BREAKING: Massive Update On NHL Expansion To Atlanta
The NHL may be forced into expanding back to Atlanta following a massive update from NHL insider Kevin Weekes.
Atlanta Building Arena Capable Of Housing NHL Franchise
Insider Kevin Weekes just revealed that there is chatter of the South Forsyth Project starting up and the next stage of the process has begun.
**Potential Expansion Update**
👀 I'm told word on the street is that the South Forsyth Project in suburban Atlanta including an Arena, is all ahead full speed with the design moving quickly and interviews for builders taking place.
The arena will be able to house an NHL franchise like the Atlanta Thrashers and could very well be the home of the newest NHL team.
The Thrashers relocated from Atlanta to Winnipeg back in 2011 but proved that they could be successful before then. With the future of NHL teams like the Coyotes and Jets uncertain, Atlanta could be the relocation spot. However, if no team needs to relocate then Atlanta could be the home of the 33rd NHL franchise.
More details will follow in the coming weeks.
