BREAKING: NHLPA is being SUED for a LOT of money!

The National Hockey League Player's Association was formed back in 1957 by Ted Lindsay who played for Detroit and Doug Harvey who played for the Montreal Canadiens.
They formed this association after the NHL refused to release the financial information for the players pension plans.
Since then they have been involved with everything to do with the players and anything financial.
Rick Westhead of TSN, broke the news today that the NHLPA is currently being sued for $100 million.
According to Rick:
Richard Rodier, who once worked with Jim Balsillie to try and buy an NHL team, alleges in a new lawsuit that NHLPA officials inappropriately used confidential information he provided to the union.

Former NHLPA consultant Richard Rodier has filed a $100M lawsuit against his former employer, alleging it misused his confidential info to pursue claims that NHL teams underreported revenue, which allowed them to pay players less money
