Rangers Sign A New Goalie
The Rangers announced on X today that they have signed Brad Arvanitis. He has been signed to a PTO and will be with the team for the start of training camp.
TRANSACTION: The Rangers have signed goaltender Brad Arvanitis to a PTO. The Holliston, MA, native spent the 2022-23 season in the ECHL with the Rapid City Rush, Tulsa Oilers and Wichita Thunder. He also played with the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL).
Arvanitis has been working his way up the professional ranks from the SPHL to the ECHL and now has earned a PTO (Player Tryout) with the New York Rangers. He will most likely play a preseason game or two. If he has good performances he could potentially earn himself a spot in the organization likely in the AHL or ECHL.
