Barron had to be helped off the ice as he was wobbly and had a cut on his head. He has not returned to the game at this moment.
Robinson who was acquired by the Sabres was added to bring physicality to the lineup. He now has put his team in a bad spot with a dirty play. He was given a 5-minute major and ejected from the game. The Canadiens went on to score twice on the ensuing power play.
Robinson will now wait for the NHL to assess the play and decide on any further discipline.
