Tonight the Dallas Stars have suffered a major loss after an injury to goaltender Jake Oettinger.
Oettinger Leaves Game With A Brutal Injury
The Dallas Stars lost goaltender Jake Oettinger tonight early on in their game. Reports from those watching the game suggest that Oettinger has suffered a potential groin injury.
Jake Oettinger leaves the game after making a pad stop from a distance only 8:03 in. Possibly groin-related, almost identical to Leafs Joseph Woll going down. Scott Wedgewood enters. Oettinger has been a huge part of the Dallas Stars' success in recent years. If he is to miss any significant time it could be a huge blow to the Stars' chances of winning.
As more information becomes available on Oettinger's injury and prognosis we will provide an update.
