Back in 2017, the Nashville used their first round pick to select Finnish sniper Eeli Tolvanen with their 30th overall pick.
Tolvanen played one year in the KHL after being drafted and scored 19 goals and 36 points in 49 games, which had fans beyond excited to see what he can do in the NHL.
After bouncing between the NHL and AHL for the last couple seasons, the Nashville Predators don't seem to think that the 23 year old has what it takes to be a full time NHL player, and have placed him on waivers.

Tolvanen has a lot of talent and is still young, some team is definitely going to take a chance on him and it will pay off huge.
Despite playing limited minutes, he did have back to back seasons with 11 goals in the NHL, so if a team picks him up and give him some top 6 minutes and top powerplay time, he could regain his scoring form and become the steal of the season.
