It has been known for awhile that the Toronto Maple Leafs were going to make the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs, and their first round partner was not official until this week, but it had been looking for a long time that the Toronto Maple Leafs were going to be having a rematch with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and this week it was officially announced that it would be the case.
As one of the best markets in hockey, seeing a Maple Leafs game at Scotiabank Arena has always come at a hefty cost. While they have not had success in quite some time, Maple Leafs fans are loyal and have always been willing to pay the cost to go support their team.
Maple Leafs tickets have now officially gone on sale for the 2023 Stanley Cup playoffs and the prices are absolutely mind boggling:
I love hockey, and would do anything to support my team, but in all honesty, how do people afford this?
If a family of 4 wanted to go attend a game it would cost them $24,000 to sit in section 109!
