BREAKING: Two players CLAIMED off WAIVERS

This season has been absolutely insane for the waiver wire. Due to the dead cap, teams have been forced to make some tough moves, which has forced us to see multiple former first round picks and top prospects put on waivers.
Yesterday the Buffalo Sabres were forced to put defenceman Casey Fitzgerald on waivers, hoping he could squeak through to the AHL, unfortunately for them he got claimed.
The Florida Panthers who are struggling a bit this season after winning the Presidents Trophy last year, has claimed Fitzgerald.
The Vegas Golden Knights also put Jake Leschyshyn on waivers yesterday, who was one of their top prospects in the organization.
