Breaking: Spezza Officially Finds a New Job in the NHL
Former NHLer Jason Spezza officially found a new job in the NHL.
Spezza Follows Dubas
Spezza left the Leafs around the same time that Dubas was fired. Now, a couple of weeks later, it has been announced that he joined the Pittsburgh Penguins as Assistant General Manager.
"Jason Spezza has followed Kyle Dubas to Pittsburgh, as Assistant General Manager.
Dubas is yet to name a General Manager after being named President of Hockey Ops.
Kyle Dubas on Jason Spezza: "After a decorated playing career, Jason fully immersed himself on the management side of the game learning all facets of hockey operations this past season while with Toronto. He showed tremendous work ethic, curiosity, and ability to build relationships throughout all departments at the team facility. His move from the roster to the front office helped make the hockey ops, coaching staff, and playing roster a more cohesive and collaborative unit."
The Dubas-Spezza duo is ready to make a splash in the NHL!
