Bruins Announce Tragic News
The Bruins made a tragic statement today regarding the well being of Jim Montgomery and his family. According to the team twitter account, Jim's mother recently passed away and Jim will be away from the team for the remainder of the week. Montgomery is set to rejoin the Bruins on October 1st.
The Bruins have one preseason game scheduled during Montgomery's absence. He will be back in time to coach their second game against Philadelphia on October 2nd.
Our thoughts are with the Montgomery family and the Bruins organization.
