The Boston Bruins had their greatest regular season in franchise history setting a record for the most wins ever. Unfortunately they failed in the playoffs losing to the Florida Panthers in the first round in seven games.
This has had fans calling for changes, but this might be over the top as the Athletic shared a monumental trade proposal from the Boston Bruins to whomever wins the Connor Bedard draft lottery.
The trade would include Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark, along with their best player David Pastrnak for the teenage hockey phenom Connor Bedard.
Pastrnak is in his prime and scored 61 goals this season for the Bruins. Pasta was the Bruins 1st round pick in the 2014 NHL draft 25th overall.
Linus Ullmark has become a elite goaltender after being acquired by the Bruins. The 29-year-old went 40-6-1 with a 1.89 goals against, and .938 save percentage.
This would be a trade be monumental but unlikely to happen but just imagine it did seeing the next generational talent as a Boston Bruin.
