Colorado Avalanche player reveals NASTY foot injury and what it took from medical staff to play

One of the sad thing that fans look forward to at the end of the playoffs is hearing what these warriors battled through in order to have a chance to win the cup. Unfortunately some players push themselves past their limits and still lose because only one team can.
This particular situation is a player for the Colorado Avalanche who's story of determination has already started to get revealed.
According to an Avalanche Insider Peter Baugh, forward Val Nichushkin played game 6 despite having a major foot injury. The injury was so bad that he needed medical help in order to get his skate on his foot.
Nichushkin has shared this photo on his instagram:
Hockey player are tough, and despite this injury Nishushkin played over 22 minutes last night.
