Connor Bedard Breaks His Second NHL Record
Connor Bedard has officially broken his second NHL record during last night's game against the Coyotes.
Bedard Becomes Youngest Player to Score Within 30 Seconds of a Game
Connor Bedard is performing well considering the pressure that is on him, and last night he broke another NHL record. Bedard became the youngest player to score within 30 seconds of a game when he potted the first goal of the night against the Arizona Coyotes.
YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME, CONNOR!
While the goal didn't seem to do much to help the Blackhawks in their 8-1 loss, it is probably another that Bedard will remember.
Connor Bedard is the youngest player in NHL history (18-105) with a goal in the first 30 seconds of a game.
Not Bedard's First Record and Won't Likely Be His Last
This wasn't the first record that Bedard has broken, as he was also the youngest player to score in back-to-back games against the previous year's Stanley Cup Champion.
Connor Bedard scored his second goal in as many meetings against the defending #StanleyCup champions a feat never before achieved by an 18-year-old.
The young phenom surely isn't done setting NHL records anytime soon. Bedard has 6 points in 9 games played in his first NHL season, and will likely only get better as he gets acclimated to the NHL.
