With game 3 of the stanley cup playoffs starting out quick for the Colorado Avalanche, it looked like we may have a repeat of game 2, but on the Avalanche's opening goal, it appears that Bowen Byram was unable to keep the puck in the zone and the Lightning challenged and won the call.
While on some of the replays that are shown, it looks like it came out of the zone, but from no angle that we are able to see, can you see clear white between the puck and the blue line.
After a long review, it was deemed no goal and the game remained 0-0. According to Insiders, the reason the goal was called back was from a camera angle that viewers did not see.
If the NHL really wants fans involved and enjoying the game, we should be able to see everything they see. Not left wondering what happened and why.
