Last night did not go the way the Tampa Bay Lightning were hoping it would go as the Maple leafs tied the series 1-1, blowing the Lightning out of the building, just as the Lightning did to them in game 1.
Towards the end of the game though, the game started to get heated, and so did the fans.
After a few fights that started with Luke Schenn and Tanner Jeannot, the crowd and players did not settle down.
At one point, Corey Perry and Pat Maroon were in the penalty box and the fans were so rowdy that Pat Maroon almost tried to fight one of them:
Corey Perry and Patrick Maroon were very upset at the rowdy fans behind them. Perry actually stopped Maroon from spearing a fan over the glass. Fans enjoyed his removal from the game.
