Ever since the news broke that the Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson was looking to trade 40 goal scorer forward Alex Debrincat, rumours have been going insane with teams all looking to land the services of this young superstar.
The Philadelphia Flyers have shown to have a lot of interest in Debrincat. In fact Anthony Di Marco of the Fourth Period revealed the package that Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher is reportedly set to offer in hope to acquire Debrincat.
The package that the Flyers are putting together that they believe will acquire Debrincat includes their 5th overall pick, either Joel Farabee or Cam York, and a prospect like Tyson Foerster.
While Debrincat is one great player, that is a huge price to pay and a huge hit to your prospect pool and future if they make this trade. The Flyers must think they are much closer to contending than the rest of us do if they want to make this deal.
