Yesterday it was announced that our favourite Edmonton Oilers superfan Ben Stelter, lost his battle with Cancer.
During the playoffs, the Oilers made ben an honourary member of the team. While not all of us knew him personally, Ben became everyone's favourite fan during the playoffs.
The sweet 6 year old boy loved hockey, and we all wish we could have done more to help this young man.
Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid developed a strong bond with Ben and even got him on the ice to live out his dream of being an Edmonton Oiler.
We are so thankful for the Edmonton Oilers on bringing so much joy to this young mans life these past few months.
R.I.P Ben.
