Evander Kane Gives Crucial Update On Wrist Injury

Evander Kane suffered a horrific injury during the 2022-23 season. The injury significantly hindered his season and had many wondering what his future looked like. Now we have an update on Kane's condition and his future in the NHL.
Kane's Horrific Injury
Evander Kane suffered a terrible wrist injury in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. His wrist was cut after a player accidentally stepped on it.
The injury caused him to miss 41 games during the season. Many were worried if he was going to play again. Kane did return during the playoffs but struggled to have the same impact as usual. Now Kane has given an update on his condition heading into the new season.
Ready To Go
According to an interview done by Kane he says he is ready to get back on the ice for the upcoming season.
There's still some numbness and all, but I have full mobility. I feel good on the ice.
Kane sounds ready to go for the upcoming season. Even with some numbness, he says he is feeling good on the ice. He will be a key part of the Edmonton Oilers offense for the upcoming season.
Kane has not played more than 75 games in a season since the 2017-18 season. If the Oilers can keep the 32-year-old healthy he could be a huge part of their upcoming season and hopeful playoff push.
