The Philadelphia Flyers have definitely had a season they wish to forget, but it started off with such hope. They made some drastic off season moves to improve their team, but only so much can be done when you suffer from injuries all season long.
The team on paper this year should have been a top contender, but it has been far from the case as after last nights loss to the Minnesota Wild they have officially dropped to the bottom of the Metropolitan division.
Having lost 34 of their last 44 games, the fans have obviously began to lose faith in the team and have stopped showing up to show support.
The official attendance of last nights game was 13,876 at Wells Fargo, which is an arena that can hold 16,110, but by the look of this photo, which was taken 7 minutes into the game, there were definitely not 13,876 people in attendance.
