One GM who has been on the hot seat lately is Toronto Maple Leafs Gm, Kyle Dubas. Dubas has had a lot of uncertainty about the future of his career arise since the Leafs round two exit.

This speculates that Brad Treliving may make a solid replacement for Kyle Dubas if the Leafs were to fire Dubas.
This idea has split fans with some believing that Treliving could provide the kick the Leafs need while others think he is too risky of an option.
Last season alone, Treliving signed Nazem Kadri and unleashed the monster that was the Matthew Tkachuk trade.
All in all, Treliving could be a solid Dubas replacement but would he be the best candidate over other qualified candidates?
