1000-game veteran Mike Ribeiro was facing three different charges that could have put him in prison for 50 years and we now know the verdict on these charges.
Ribeiro's Fate Confirmed By The Jury
Recently former NHLer Mike Ribeiro had his trial for three different charges. The jury made a decision on two of the counts and was hung on the third one.
A jury in a Texas court has found former NHL player Mike Ribeiro not guilty of two counts, according to media reports.
The jury deadlocked on a different count. It's possible Ribeiro could be retried on that charge.
Ribeiro still could be found guilty of the third charge but there is a chance the charges get retired and Ribeiro will live his life a free man.
