The Nashville Predators announced today that Luke Schenn will miss approximately 4-6 weeks due to an undisclosed lower-body injury. Schenn has missed the past 3 games after appearing in the Predators season opener against Tampa.
With this timeline, we can expect Schenn to miss time until late November or December, depending on the rehab for the injury.
Schenn signed with the Predators this offseason in a 3-year, $8.25 million contract. This was a big raise after Schenn spent the last 5 years on short-term deals worth less than $1 million.
Schenn was picked by the Leafs, the team he was with last season, 5th overall in the 2008 NHL entry draft.
