Last week a scary scene unfolded when Barclay Goodrow took a puck to the face in a game. Today we got an update from him on his condition.
Goodrow Takes A Puck Off The Face
Last week in a matchup against the Ottawa Senators Barclay Goodrow took a puck off the face. Gooodrow went down to the ice and looked to lose a tooth or something similar laying on the ice.
Today Goodrow was able to address the incident with the media for the first time. He also confirmed what he lost on the ice that night.

In an interview today Barclay Goodrow revealed that he is not really sure what he lost from his mouth. He believes it was part of his jaw that he spit out after the impact.
Barclay Goodrow says he didn't lose any teeth when he took that puck to the face. He spit out some other part of his jaw.
He's doing okay, trying to figure out how to get all his proteins while not being able to eat solid food for a month.
Goodrow will not be able to eat solid foods for a month as his jaw recovers. Despite this Goodrow returned to the game and will continue to play.
