Hockey players are tough, we see them all the time suffer an injury and either quickly get ''stitched up'' and return to action, or just play through the pain and pretend it never happened.
Tonight the New York Rangers were in Chicago to take on the Blackhawks which ended in a 7-1 victory for the Rangers.
Less than 3 minutes into the third period one of the Hawks defenceman suffered a pretty serious injury. Rangers Samuel Blais took a slapshot from the point and it caught Jarred Tinordi right in the face, leaving him spitting out blood.
