Golden Knights Prospect Gets Knocked Out After Severe Collision Into the Boards During OHL Game
Earlier this week, the Saginaw Spirit and the Windsor Spitfires faced off in an intense matchup.
During the game, a player took a hard hit and collided dangerously with the boards. He stayed on the ice for quite a while without moving.
Golden Knights Prospect Sapovaliv Stays Motionless on the Ice After Dangerous Incident
Maytas Sapovaliv, the Vegas Golden Knights' 2nd round pick in 2022, had to leave the game after a dangerous hit send him straight into the boards during a rush to the puck in the offensive zone.
Fortunately, after the game, Sapovaliv was cleared by the medical staff and joined his team later in the night.
Matyas Sapovaliv was evaluated by onsite medical staff and was released back to the team to travel back to Saginaw." Check out the following video to see how it went down:
