Jack Hughes Addresses Crazy Rumour in an Interview
With the offseason underway for the New Jersey Devils, fans have begun spreading crazy rumors and Jack Hughes has addressed the most recent one.
Hughes Rejects Outlandish Rumor
In a recent viral video, somebody said "Most NHLers know how to read" implying that some are unable to read. Now this is an outrageous claim to begin with but it has led to much speculation on which players can read and which cannot.
Jack Hughes has addressed these allegations subtly in a recent interview:
While he does not outright say he saw the list of players who people speculate cannot read, he heavily implies it. It is pretty outlandish to imply an NHL player cannot read.
It would be understandable if the allegation was "not able to read English" and then the list is a bunch of foreign players.
One has to be fairly smart to be able to make the NHL so it is hard to believe anybody could make the league without being able to read.
