The NHL and the Department of Player Safety has announced that they have suspended LA Kings forward Brendan Lemieux for 5 games for biting Brady Tkachuk.
This is Lemieux's 3rd career suspension. He was previously suspended for 2 games in 2018 for an illegal check to the head of Vincent Trocheck. In July 2020, Lemieux was suspended for 2 games for an illegal check that injured Joonas Donskoi.
