Carter Hart's time in Philadelphia is almost certainly coming to an end. A proposed trade would send him to the west coast.
Hart Gets a Fresh Start
With the Philadelphia Flyers entering a rebuild, one of their best trade chips is 24-year-old goaltender Carter Hart.
While he may not have the most value in the world, considering he has struggled to even put up a .900 save percentage in his career, the Flyers could still get quite the haul.
This mock trade would send him to the Seattle Kraken:
Grubauer, while not cheap, is a serviceable starting goalie. David Goyette is an exciting centre prospect who was drafted in the 2nd round in 2022, and whose stock has risen over the last year.
This, alongside a 2024 1st rounder, is a reasonable package for Hart, who could bloom with Seattle's well-rounded defense-first roster in front of him.
Who do you think would win this deal?
