NHL legend Teemu Salanne no doubt has a amazing career He was arguably the best Finnish player of time. And was very proud of his country like most of us.

Teemu Selanne has a special place in every Finnish hockey fan's heart, he like Jari Kurri paved the way for today's Finnish Stars like Patrik Laine and Aleksander Barkov.

He was a sick goalscorer, both in Team Finland and in the NHL, and had the nick name the Finnish Flash.

As a player from Finland, Selanne shouldn't be the biggest fan of the rivals from the west, Team Sweden. These two countries had some epic battles during various hockey tournaments over the years.

Finland wanted to beat Sweden and Sweden wanted to beat Finland, this was like a Montreal Canadiens versus Boston Bruins rivalry.

So this piece of news will definitely surprise many of you.

That is that Teemu Selanne, Finland's most prominent hockey legend, actually has a Swedish flag tattooed on his body. No I'm not making this up either It sounds like a fake story, but Selanne has confirmed it.

During a bachelor party, one of Selanne's buddies blindfolded the Finnish Flash and was taken into a tattoo studio. This story sounds a bit like Stew in the Hangover, But different tattoo.

The tattoo artist got nervous and screwed up big time seeing Selanne laying there. so when he asked for a Finnish flag to be tattooed on his foot, the artist accidentally used blue and yellow colours instead of blue and white so The Finnish Flash is rocking the Sweden flag

» He was like,' I can't believe it, but when I saw who it was, I couldn't think straight. Get back in a week, and we'll sort it out',» he says.
But Selanne never came back.
