The Oilers were flying last night and would score early to build a 3-0 lead after the first period. It looked like it was going to be a easy night for the Oilers and possibly the end of the night for Jakob Markstrom but that wasn't the case as the Flames stuck with him.
The Flames would battle back scoring two goals in the second period to make it a one goal game. Then we would see the biggest blunder of the year when Flames Ramus Andersson would score from his own end beating Mike Smith.
The shot was 138 feet away from the Oilers goal to tie the game 3-3 stunning the Oilers and Rexall place.
But rest easy Oilers fans, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins would score his 2nd goal of the game with just over 3 minutes left to play in the 3rd period, then Kane would add a empty net goal to burry the the nail in the Flames coffin as the Oilers take game four 5-3 and now have a 3-1 series lead.
