Major Update On Samuel Savoie Following Surgery
Samuel Savoie was stretchered off the ice last night and we now have an update on what he will do going forward.
Savoie Update
Last night Samuel Savoie was stretchered off the ice and was rushed to the hospital following a nasty collision with the boards.
Just under 24 hours later, we received a major update on what happened with Savoie and how he is doing.
Team physician Dr. Michael Terry released the following medical update:
Samuel Savoie underwent successful surgery on his right femur on Sunday in Minnesota, and we expect him to make a full recovery.
A femur injury is absolutely brutal considering how they take 4-6 months to fully heal which will mean at minimum, Savoie will miss over half of the season.
Thankfully, he is projected to completely recover from this injury which means his NHL dreams are still alive and well.
