Matthew Tkachuk Goes Flying Into The Boards After Dirty Hit
During Thursday night's matchup between the Wild and the Panthers, Matthew Tkachuk took a hit from Marcus Foligno way away from the play. Tkachuk was just outside the Panthers bench when the hit was made while the puck was behind the Minnesota net.
Foligno Takes A Trip To The Sin Bin, Panthers Fail To Capitalize
Foligno was given a minor penalty for interference on the play. Despite this, the Panthers failed to create any offense on the ensuing powerplay and lost the game with a final score of 2-0.
The Panthers are back in action Saturday afternoon as they take on the Winnipeg Jets at 3:00PM central time.
